The 2014 La Fleur is laced with the essence of mocha, plum, dark spices, new leather and dark blue/purplish fruits. Open-knit and luscious, the 2015 will drink well with minimal cellaring. There is plenty to admire in this plush, open-knit Saint-Émilion. Apr 2016, www.Vinous.com
The 2015 La Fleur had a high-toned and slightly jammy bouquet that felt pushed too hard. The palate is sweet and chewy on the entry, very dense with a lot of extract, though I would be seeking more tension and detail on the rather blocky finish. Apr 2016, www.robertparker.com
