Note di degustazione
The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin is built on a core of silkiness, finesse and understatement. Crushed flowers, rose petals, mint and raspberries meld together in a wine of real nuance. Sweet floral notes add an aromatic flourish on the close. The 2013 is a blend of fruit from La Justice and Les Seuvrees.

Bright, deep red. Musky aromas of maraschino cherry, raspberry and underbrush. Drier than the Rue de Vergy, conveying a youthfully medicinal quality to the cherry and spice flavors. More reserved and serious today, showing dustier tannins, but has no shortage of intensity.
The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin Village, matured in 20% new oak, has an expressive, floral nose with rose petals infusing the bright red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with taut, slightly chalky tannins, a gentle grip and quite a masculine, structured finish that just cuts away a little swiftly. Drink this over the next 5 or 6 years.
