Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2023-2038, Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux, Dec 2021

Rich and round through the mid palate, silky texture, this has power and handles it well. Chocolate and liqourice, blueberry fruit, enjoyable overall, trace of heat on the finish. 45hl/h yield, 60% new oak. This is the first vintage with Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, with grapes that had been planted in 2008, right opposite L'Evangile on a plot of gravel over clay soils.

Punteggio 92/100 · Da bere 2021-2038, Neal Martin, Apr 2019

The 2015 La Dominique has a charming bouquet with red cherries, blueberry, cassis and light floral aromas that blossom in the glass and frankly, highlight what is missing in the 2014. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, well-judged acidity, rounded in texture with great depth and harmony on the finish. After a sticky period this is La Dominique back on form and showing what can be done. Very fine. Tasted at the vertical tasting at La Dominique.

Punteggio 16/20 · Da bere 2024-2036, Jancis Robinson MW, Jan 2019

Tasted blind. Dense and dry and full of energy. Bright fruit that’s intense but just a little too drying on the end, alas. Shame! (JR)

Punteggio 95/100 · Da bere 2020-2035, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2018

The 2015 La Dominique is bold, super-ripe and exciting. Black cherry, chocolate, plum, licorice, smoke, crème de cassis and menthol all flesh out in this dramatic, sumptuous Saint-Émilion. Ripe and voluptuous on the palate, with no hard edges, it will drink well pretty much right out of the gate. In 2015, La Dominique exudes a level of aromatic intensity and sheer explosiveness few other wines have.
