Note di degustazione
The 2015 Dauzac has a classy, sophisticated bouquet of blackberry, boysenberry, cedar and light fennel aromas; a floral element emerges with just a few swirls of the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine grip and good acidity. A little viscosity surfaces toward the finish, which leaves a dash of white pepper on the aftertaste. This is a more opulent Margaux, but one that is well-crafted. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting.

Tasted blind. Very dark crimson. Plump black-fruit notes. Good juice and freshness. Lively but with some real austerity on the very end. (JR)
Very deep crimson. Chunky with very marked tanginess and a strong oak signature. 20th-century wine? A little stodgy with a dying finish. (JR)
