Note di degustazione
The 2015 Boyd-Cantenac offers attractive raspberry and wild strawberry on the nose, the oak nicely integrated and hints of rose petal emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and punchy red berry fruit laced with brown spices and graphite, leading to a cohesive finish with good density and length. One of the hidden gems from the appellation this year. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting.

Tasted blind. Light with some slight biscuit notes. Rather dry and austere on the end. (JR)
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Boyd-Cantenac has a slightly reduced/rubbery nose to begin, giving way to black soil and underbrush notes over a core of cassis, black berries and dark chocolate. The medium-bodied mouth is packed with black fruit and toasty notions, with very firm, chewy tannins giving a grippy finish.
Full and structured with chewy tannins. Plenty of earth and sweet tobacco character. Medium center palate. Should develop nicely. Mar 2016, JamesSuckling.com
