2005 Morey St Denis Clos Sorbes

The 2005 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Clos Sorbé Vieilles Vignes is a solid bottle, but a touch of Brettanomyces deprives it of the pure and soaring aromatics that are the signature of Truchot's wines at their best. Offering up aromas of dark berries, baking spices, sweet soil tones and a touch of saddle leather, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and youthful, with a lively core of fruit framed by still-present structuring tannins.
