Punteggio 97/100 · Da bere 2017-2060, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Apr 2017

The 2015 Scharzhofberger Riesling Auslese (AP #9) is beautifully clear, intense and piquant on the complex and elegant nose, which displays a great mix of tropical fruit, honey and Scharzhofberg slate with fine botrytis flavors. Round, lush and salty, this is a gorgeously rich, yet pure and piquant Auslese. It has great complexity and elegance. The finish is precise and salty, with great intensity and piquancy.

Punteggio 96/100 · Da bere 2025-2060, Mosel Fine Wines

Gorgeously vibrant scents of white peach, herbs and spices give way to richer and more complex notes of apricot, pineapple and fresh herbs and white flowers with airing. The wine manages to be delicately smooth and, at same time, racy as an almost Eiswein-like acidity cleanses the palate and provides focus to an area of complex cocktail fruits, herbs and minerals in the finish. This beauty in the making has stunning development potential. Jun 2016, www.moselfinewines.com, Drink: 2025-2060
