(a blend of five plots): Palish red with an amber edge. Raspberry aroma lifted by spices and dried flowers. Displays brisk acidity but has some softness and richness to buffer it. A bit longer than the village Gevrey, finishing with a soft dusting of tannins and a lingering spice character. Stehly noted that the pHs of his village wines in 2014 are around are 3.5, which he described as "quite high." But he also told me that he picked on the late side in search of softer tannins.
