Note di degustazione
Bright dark red. Cherry and red licorice aromas are complicated by hints of herbs and earth. Juicy and penetrating thanks to strong acidity; doesn't have the velvety texture of the young 2015 but boasts terrific cut. And the wine's firm tannins arrive late, allowing the finishing red fruit and floral flavors to expand in the mouth.

(70% new oak; from Carougeot and Les Epointures): Moderately saturated medium red. Raspberry, underbrush and flowers on the enticing, aromatic nose. Very floral and spicy in the mouth; more about perfume than weight. Classically dry village wine with firm supporting minerality.
A very pinot nose features notes of red berries, earth and a hint of underbrush. The smooth and silky middle weight flavors are really quite fine thanks to the fine-grained tannins that add sophistication to the lingering finish where the only nit is a hint of warmth. 88-90
