Punteggio 95/100 · Da bere 2020-2045, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Nov 2017

Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2014 tasting, the 2014 Chambertin Grand Cru from Louis Latour is the wine that decided to mock my previous judgment more than any other. It has a very intense bouquet with vibrant red and black fruit struck through minerals. This has breeding and authority—très grand cru, although there is a touch of oxidation that becomes more noticeable with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied, quite muscular on the entry with a keen thread of acidity, superb structure and real depth toward the kingly finish. This is a magnificent Chambertin. Can we have more of this from Louis Latour, please. Tasted September 2017.
