Note di degustazione
The 2013 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos des Mont Luisants Blanc 1er Cru has an earthy, white mushroom and waxy nose, missing some freshness and very rustic. The palate is well-balanced, not complex, but definitely less bucolic than the nose. There's lots of extract here with an almost Germanic dry finish. Some VA here? I would drink bottles sooner rather than later.

Taken directly from tank, the 2013 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos des Mont Luisants Blanc Vieilles Vignes has a fragrant, lightly resinous bouquet that is well defined and focused. The palate is sensual, nicely balanced with just a touch of clear honey, smooth in the mouth with a rounded and surprisingly rich finish. Excellent.
100% Aligoté. Very old vines from stocks originally planted in 1911. Monopole. Greener and paler than the St-Romain though still medium gold and much darker than most. Great vitality. Lots of lemon and life. Really fun and different. Edge of perfume. Incredible that it’s Aligoté. (JR)
