Note di degustazione
Medium red. Musky, slightly reduced aromas of raspberry and spices. Sweet and fine-grained, offering lovely racy acidity that avoids sharpness. Raspberry and mocha flavors are complicated by a mineral touch. Finishes with firm tannins and good lift.

Ripe and caramelly on the nose, then quite juicy-jelly and confected on the palate. A bit tarty, and doesn’t really convince. (AH)
(this wine was racked for the second time ten days before my visit): Bright full red. Aromas of raspberry, mocha and blood orange. Fat and sweet for 2013 but not at all heavy. Finishes with fairly gripping, dusty tannin and a hint of peppery herbs. Probably fresher and more minerally than it's showing today, the result of the recent racking. This premier cru needs early picking, noted Barthod, "almost as early as vineyards on the Côte de Beaune."
