Note di degustazione
The 2014 La Louvière Blanc has a clean, quite vibrant bouquet with crisp lemon rind and white flower scents. The palate is well balanced with fine weight in the mouth, touches of sour lemon and peach that leads to a judiciously spiced finish. This well made white Bordeaux should drink well for several years. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting.

Tasted at the André Lurton tasting in London. The 2014 La Louviere Blanc is an outstanding wine from the estate and this bottle confirmed my previous review. There is superb precision on the nose with scents of Golden Delicious and fresh lime, perhaps even more citrus than a few months ago. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, lively and tensile with a precise, minerally finish. This is excellent and is well worth hunting down. Tasted June 2017.
The 2014 La Louvière Blanc is dry, bracing and very nicely balanced, with lovely precision in its Sauvignon Blanc flavors. Ideally, the 2014 is best enjoyed over the next 2-3 years, while the flavors remain bright and focused.
Informazioni sul produttore

Wine has been made at this estate since the 1300s, but its modern history begins when the Lurton family purchased it in 1965. The property was in disrepair, but the Lurtons have restored the château, winery and vineyards.
