The 2013 Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits has a rather austere bouquet that needs more fruit intensity. The palate is light on the entry but demonstrates a little more body than the Bourgogne Rouge, offering satisfactory delineation on the finish. It just requires the aromatics to awake a little.
