Supple and gently sweet, offering bitter cherry, succulent herb and cola flavors that show good depth and focus. The classic 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape offers tons of Provençal character in its mulled cherries, licorice, spice box and garrigue laced bouquet. Made from 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre. Drink this medium-bodied, rounded and delicious effort over the coming 5-6 years.
