Note di degustazione
(70% vendange entier ; 100% new oak): Bright, dark red. The nose offers a sexy amalgam of redcurrant, rose petal, iron, smoky oak and truffley underbrush. Quite silky and plush for the year but the ripe red fruit and soil flavors are accented by an element of peppery herbs. Finishes ripe, smooth and long. Deceptively approachable today, but has the stuffing for a graceful evolution in bottle. I like the stem influence here.

Deep cherry red. Sweet oak spice more present here on the nose. Oaky on the palate too but there's pretty and generous fruit to stand up to it. Filled with sweet cherry fruit. The tannins are unexpectedly round and sweet too. Flattering and polished. (JH)
(vinified with 60% whole clusters; from parcels in Les Rouges Dessus and du Bas): Bright, full red. Highly nuanced aromas of raspberry, dried rose, iron and sweet oak, along with an almost petrolly suggestion of gunflint; like the Latricières, this is very red in style. Then silky and fine-grained on the palate, in a distinctly soft, feminine style with no rough edges. The red fruit and saline flavors carry nicely through a long, smoothly tannic finish.
