Note di degustazione
The 2014 Château Lousteauneuf offers pleasant blackberry, bilberry and mint notes on the nose that feels tightly coiled at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy red berry fruit, a dash of spice and a bucolic finish that feels heavy-handed, though I suspect it will mellow with age. Give this a couple of years in bottle. Tasted September 2016.

70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot. Aged in oak barrels. Lovely blackcurrant pastille fruit on the nose. Very fine grain tannin. Subtle oak spice to finish. Enough fruit density to warrant – and reward – bottle maturation. (RH)
