Note di degustazione
The 2014 Marojallia did not show well in barrel, but has come together now in bottle. It is very deep in color. The nose was reticent at first, unfurling gradually with blackberry, raspberry coulis and iodine aromas, later, just a subtle estuarine scent. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, fine mineralité and tension with an appealing sense of energy and frisson on the finish. Enjoy this over the next 8-10 years.

Blackberry, blueberry and spice aromas with light herb undertones. Full body, silky tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Drink in 2020.
The 2014 Marojallia is ripe, flashy and voluptuous, just as it was from barrel. Juicy red cherry and plum fruit, kirsch, espresso, spice and new French oak all meld together in an opulent, flamboyant wine that offers considerable immediacy and pure pleasure. The 2014 appears to have shut down a bit post-bottling, but it has plenty of richness and intensity. Readers should expect an unctuous, viscous, full-throttle Margaux. Tasted two times.
