Note di degustazione
The 2014 Beaumont is a delicious, hearty Haut-Medoc to drink now and over the next few years. Dark red cherry, menthol, licorice, tobacco and savory herbs add aromatic nuance, but it is the wine's exuberant, boisterous personality that is hard to resist today.

Deep cherry red. Fresh and lightly leafy in aroma but also attractively dark-fruited and dusty. Sober but inviting. Juicy with more plum-like fruit on the palate. Gentle texture, fresh, approachable. Falls away a little on the finish. (JH)
The 2014 Beaumont has a straightforward blackberry and raspberry bouquet that feels a little subdued at the moment and needs a tad more harmony. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe tannin, solid and conservative yet with good density. It does not quite "flow" like the best vintages of this Haut-Médoc, but I suspect it will improve with another couple of years in bottle to soften its edges. Tasted September 2016.
