The 2012 Domaine de Cambes is soft, fruity and forward, with lovely palate density to match its open-knit personality. Bold and racy in style, the 2012 is an excellent choice for drinking over the next few years. Initially quite dense, the 2012 becomes a bit more delicate as sweet, floral notes emerge with air, giving the 2012 an unmistakable air of sensuality as well as considerable appeal. What a gorgeous wine this is. The 2012 is 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec taken from clay rich soils at the bottom of the slope and aged in 100% new French oak.
