Note di degustazione
Bright red. Very primary, slightly reduced aromas of cassis bud and pine needles. Bright and intense but tight, offering sharply delineated flavors of dark fruits, pine needles, pepper and herbs. The pungent peppery impression carries through on the finish. This appears to be closing down already. I would have guessed that this wine was made with a high percentage of whole clusters, but it was 100% destemmed.

Totally bizarre nose: smells of box tree, ie green. Green and tart on the palate too. No thanks. (JH)
Good deep red. Aromas of black cherry, raspberry, brown spices and underbrush. Full for village wine but nicely leavened by strong acidity and accents of pepper and herbs. Very good fruit intensity here.
Mid crimson. On the nose this seems relatively evolved and smudgy – as though it had been simmered a bit. Lacks real precision. Smells of boiled sweets/hard candy. A little green on the finish. (JR)
