The 2014 Marjosse Blanc is bright, crisp and refreshing, all qualities that are best enjoyed over the next year or two. Grapefruit, sage, tomato leaf and mint add aromatic nuance.

The 2014 Marjosse Blanc is a fabulous wine in its price range. Mint, tomato leaf, sage, white pear and jasmine open in a fresh, invigorating wine. Clean and bracing in style, with plenty of Sauvignon Blanc character, the 2014 offers a lovely, nuanced expression and tons of personality. This is a strong showing from proprietor Pierre Lurton and Marjosse.
I prefer the white version of Château Marjosse Blanc 2014 to the red this year. It has a crisp kiwi fruit and gooseberry-scented nose, light citrus scents following after. The palate is simple but balanced with primal grapefruit notes on the mid-palate, but perhaps it would have benefited from more depth on the finish.
