Dark purple. An exotically perfumed bouquet displays scents of candied black and blue fruits, olive, sandalwood and peppery spices. Juicy, penetrating blueberry and bitter cherry flavors are given depth by notes of licorice and espresso, with a floral nuance sneaking up with aeration. Finishes taut, spicy and very long, with lovely clarity and fine-grained tannins.
