Medium red. Cool, subdued aromas of medicinal red berries, licorice, mint and violet. Savory and intense, showing good cut to its flavors of red cherry and menthol. This juicy wine seems a bit narrow on the end in the early going but has the medicinal reserve to suggest it will fill out with time in bottle.
