Note di degustazione
The 2013 Vosne-Romanée Village has a fragrant bouquet with pretty red fruit - crushed strawberry and cranberry, just a touch of iris. The palate has fine grip with good depth, the red merging into more black fruit towards the structured finish. Enjoy this over the next 5 or 6 years. Tasted at Goedhuis & Co.'s annual Burgundy tasting in London.

Bright medium red. Spicy red berries complicated by hints of mint and meat on the nose. Juicy, sappy and vibrant; a savory, soil-driven wine with its fruit currently in the background. Shows slightly green-edged acidity and tannins but boasts excellent energy.
A solid core of fruit on the nose, but a hell of a lot of wood. A rather slippery, unctuous Sauternes-esque texture to the palate. Ungainly for a wine this expensive. (AH)
(the only one of these wines that had been racked): Healthy bright red. Sexy, complex aromas of medicinal red cherry, licorice, flowers and spices, with a positive hint of greenness. Juicy, spicy and tightly wound, with a refined texture and noteworthy concentration for village wine. This lightly saline wine will rely more on its slightly peppery acidity than on its suave tannins for longevity.
