Good dark red with ruby tones. A bit of musky reduction to the aromas of blackberry, shoe polish, coffee, wild herbs and licorice. Fleshier than the Aux Chezeaux but quite dry, even herbal, showcasing the spicy, lively side of the vintage. Really vibrates in the mouth and on the piquant, saline aftertaste.
