Note di degustazione
Palish medium red. Reticent, cool nose hints at medicinal cherry, menthol, mint and herbs. Then sweeter and more concentrated than the nose suggests, with an enticing sugar/acid balance giving lift to the red berry, red cherry and mineral flavors. Finishes brisk, with a fine dusting of tannins and lovely verve. Not a fleshy style but I like this wine's solid stony underpinning.

(15% new oak): Bright, deep red-ruby. Black cherry, black licorice and minerals on the nose. Silky on entry, then concentrated in the middle, showing lovely inner-mouth perfume to the flavors of raspberry, strawberry and stone. Finishes with very fine-grained tannins, serious length and enticing peppery lift. Should make an outstanding Mercurey.
