Note di degustazione
The 2012 Morey St Denis les Millandes displays a little more cohesion and delineation compared to its fellow Morey premier crus. The palate is medium-bodied with taut tannins, plenty of raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, with a slightly hard finish that needs more flesh and finesse. Still, I appreciate the short spicy aftertaste.

Moderately saturated medium red. Reduced aromas of strawberry, raspberry and musky underbrush. Sweet and silky on entry, with tangy red fruit flavors complicated by brown spices and a note of coffee. Turns tighter--even a bit tart--on the back end, finishing with a firm spine and youthfully edgy tannins. In an awkward stage today and in need of patience.
