Note di degustazione
The 2013 Langoa Barton has a simple nose with leathery, slightly gamey red fruit. Maybe just a touch of brettanomyces here? The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. There's a pleasantly smooth mouthfeel, simple with a lightly spiced, short finish. This 2013 is forgettable but perfectly enjoyable as you drink it. Tasted at Bordeaux Index's 10-Year On tasting.

Mid crimson. Not especially intense on the nose. Light and unambitious. Ticks boxes rather than beguiles. Just a bit green on the dry end. (JR)
This has charm, open and welcoming with raspberry puree, loganberry, orange peel, tobacco and sage. Ready to drink, lacks the depth of most vintages at the property. This is a vintage where the gap between the sibling estates on opposing sides of the same road is fairly pronounced. Harvest October 2 to 14.
Tasted blind. Mid garnet. Gently leafy nose. But pretty drying on the palate, needs a little more flesh in the middle. (JH)
