2013 Siaurac

Composed of 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec, this beautiful estate on a high ridge of Lalande de Pomerol has fashioned a soft, seductive 2013 offering round berry fruit, a hint of vanillin, sweet tannin and low acidity. Drink this plump, tasty red over the next 3-4 years. Incidentally, this is the largest vineyard (nearly 115 acres) in Lalande de Pomerol. Almost half of it has been purchased by Francois Pinault, the owner of Pauillac’s Chateau Latour and Napa Valley’s Araujo Estate.
