2007 Tatay de Cristobal

The winery’s flagship is the 2007 Tatay de Cristobal 1492, named after Christopher Columbus. It struts a kinky/sexy nose of wild blueberry, mineral, and earth notes, an out-going personality, beautiful balance, complex flavors, and exceptional length. Give it 6-8 years of additional cellaring and drink it from 2016 to 2037. If I were awarding an Oscar for finest performance by a winery, Von Siebenthal would be my winner.
