Note di degustazione
Very deep blackish crimson. Opulent, winning, concentrated nose in the modern idiom. Interesting mineral notes on the nose and very succulent fruit with a nice, appetising dry finish. Good blend of ancient and modern elements. Nice claret for drinking reasonably soon. (JR)

Dull, thick, sweet stuff. Where's the structure? Furry oak tannins on the finish. (JR)
Licorice, black fruit, herb, earth, and wood aromas emerge from this moderately perfumed, medium-bodied Margaux. The wine displays fruit and ripeness as well as some tannin. It is a good effort from this under performer, who appears to be getting its act together. Drink it over the next decade.
A straightforward red, with lots of cherry character. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a fruity finish. Best after 2003. 13,330 cases made.James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2002
