Full bottle 1,244 g. Interesting to taste this long after my early enthusiasm for this blend of varieties as un-Bordelais as Manseng, Mondeuse and Savagnin. It shows no sign of decrepitude and remains intriguing. I’m still getting the acacia and a great balance between acidity and an interesting range of fruit. Ripe greengages? I’m not worried about the last few bottles that are still in our cellar! It has lasted much longer than I initially predicted – which shows that my cellar management is less than perfect. (JR)

Quite deep gold. Not much nose but good acidity. Very teenage – between two stages, I hope! (Having liked it a lot en primeur.) Fresh enough but it needs to build flavour. (JR)
Most unusual blend – an absolute horror to have blind. Good acidity and little contributions from many a grape. Smoke and varnish at the moment. All potential. (JR)
Blend of (illegal for Bordeaux) Manseng, Mondeuse and Savagnin. Floral nose and then some astringency. It really needs a bit of time, but it's really interesting. Lots of beeswax and fine acidity but really firm and almost rich as well as refreshing and dry. Long, promising, but not ready. (JR)
