Note di degustazione
Ruby-red. Subtle, pure aromas of black cherry, licorice and minerals. Dense and sweet but juicy, even a bit clenched, with a rather masculine, medicinal character currently dominating the middle palate. (There's something vaguely Saint-Emilion-like about this powerful pinot.) This will require extended aging for its substantial tannins to resolve. Finishes very long, with a late note of bitter chocolate.

Quite firm and interesting. Just a tiny bit of oak on the nose and rather voluptuous on the palate. This seems quite sweet, but tense and ambitious. On the Vosne side in the middle. (JR)
