Cuvée B from the Échezeaux Dor, some near Ch Latour and some from bottom; Cuvée A is just 400 bottles for Singapore. Very aromatic and floral at first and then a bit dry and tough on the end. A little stubborn. Also tasted 7 Jan 2010. Score 16 Drink 2012-18: Thick and dense and a little bit heavy. Foot dragging and a bit brutal on the finish. (JR)

Nicolas Potel is one of Burgundy’s most talented and connected winemakers. He created Maison Roche de Bellene, the négoce arm of Domaine de Bellene, in 2008, using his extensive network in the region to source top-quality fruit for an "haute couture" négociant operation.
