Some development at the rim already. Spicy, rather obvious oak on the nose. Very polished and supple. Very flattering. A bit sweet and forward. Could do with a little more freshness. (JR)

Good red-ruby. Slight whiff of oxidation on the nose. Then juicy and intense in the mouth, with a lovely penetrating spicy character and plenty of fresh fruit. At once firmly built and supple, with a juicy finish. Tricky to taste today but this seems good.
