Note di degustazione
Another wine I’ve drunk more than a case of since release, the 2007 Châteauneuf du Pape is a rich, full-bodied, sexy effort that has tons of ripe black currants, black raspberries, incense and garrigue aromas and flavors. It has sweet tannin and while drinking at point, it will keep for another 5-7 years.

Showing a more tight, structured profile than on release, yet no less impressive, the 2007 Domaine Pierre Usseglio & Fils Châteauneuf-du-Pape delivers brilliant aromas of raspberry, licorice, roasted meats, sappy garrigue, and sweet spice driven aromatics on the nose. Full-bodied and large scaled, with a rich core of fruit and solid structure, this beautiful Châteauneuf-du-Pape should be give another 3-4 years in the cellar, at which point it should drink well through 2020.
Dark red. Expressive aromas of red berries and cherry, with notes of smoky garrigue and dried flowers adding complexity. Spicy and pure, with an exotic floral note joining the mineral-driven raspberry and cherry flavors. Finishes smooth and sweet, with little in the way of obvious tannins. This is delicious now.
