Dark crimson. Zesty and round and molten and gorgeous. Lovely wine. Long. MUCH more beguiling than when I tasted a bottle a couple of years ago. (JR)
Opulent, almost burnt nose. Very sweet start, could have been mistaken for some of the aromas of an Oz Cab at first though the palate is much more cool(er) climate and restrained. I’m just not quite sure why you would want this wine because it doesn’t deliver the bordeax experience nor does it deliver the full-blown, look-how-over-the-top-I-am sensation of some New World blockbusters. Some oak on the end – in fact arguably a bit too much. (JR)
Very deep purple. Juicy, fleshy nose. Broad, voluptuous palate but definitely lacking the glamour of a really top Pomerol. Sweet, modern but relatively gentle – not too exaggerated. (JR)

Famed winemaking consultant Michel Rolland is synonymous with this estate. The vines here were purchased by his grandparents and he ran the property from 1979. Although Rolland still makes the wine today, he sold the estate in 2013.
