Some minerality on the nose, which is giving little away today, though does come round with some air. In the mouth this is powerful: chunky and classy though still quite tight. This will want some time. FINE+RARE

Bright, dark red. Precise, vibrant aromas of red and black raspberry, cola, rose petal and botanical herbs, complicated by a light balsamic quality. A strong mineral core energizes the flavors of black raspberry, spices and herbs. Most impressive today on the very long, palate-staining finish, which features strong but very suave tannins and outstanding lift.
