Bright ruby-red. Multidimensional nose combines blackberry, pepper, gunflint, wild roasted herbs, mocha, iron, game and underbrush. A coulis of red fruits and licorice in the mouth; superripe, creamy and full. Finishes with atypically sweet tannins for Bonnes-Mares, as well as palate-staining length. Hervet thinks the Corton is even better than this!
