Very deep crimson – glowing. Heady, spicy, flattering with lots of evolution. Not bad to find a delicious, complex 10-year-old classic at this price... well, just great to find it all by the single bottle really. Sweet start and then very fresh fruit. Dances – just a hint of funk. Good stuff. (JR)
Rich, round, gouleyant fruit. Very easy. Limpid is somehow the word that comes to mind. Quite gentle on top but with very dry tannins underneath. (JR)
Extremely deep crimson. Lovely, lively fragrance. Lighter-bodied than most but oodles of pleasure. Just what red bordeaux is all about. Marked acidity and an appetising kick of tannins on the finish. Not everyone's tasse de thé but definitely one for those with long memories. (JR)
