Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2017-2027, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Aug 2017
Tasted at the André Lurton tasting in London. The 2004 La Louviere Blanc is firmly into secondary aromas territory with beeswax, lanolin and faint rosewater/peachy scents emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, a lovely waxy texture and subtle notes of lemon rind, marmalade and frangipane toward the finish. It feels long and generous, with just the right amount of tension and sappiness to urge you back for another sip. Excellent. Tasted June 2017.

La Louviere
Wine has been made at this estate since the 1300s, but its modern history begins when the Lurton family purchased it in 1965. The property was in disrepair, but the Lurtons have restored the château, winery and vineyards.
