Note di degustazione
In keeping with the vintage character, the 2011 Grand-Pontet is a lighter-styled wine than usual. Fruity and soft with cherry, earth, spice and fruitcake notes, it should be consumed over the next 4-5 years .

I like the core of ripe pretty fruit here and minerality. Full body, with fresh herbs and fruit. Chewy. Little hollow but very good. jamessuckling.com
A competent no-nonsense wine if a little unexciting. Attractive, clean, berry flavours and well-handled tannins. Drink 2016-2025. Decanter.com
The Grand Pontet is a little light on the nose and is showing a touch of greenness. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly chewy entry, although it has decent fruit concentration and the finish exhibits balance and freshness. Nothing exceptional, but it may merit a higher score out of bottle. Tasted April 2012. Neal Martin, eRobertParker.com
