Very fragrant and ripe with great balance and accessibility. Not the concentration of a great cru classé but that means one can drink it earlier. With great pleasure. (JR)
Very healthy crimson. Rather sophisticated nose with some redcurrant fruit and real freshness. Polished and subtle. Very appetising. Quite flashy with a slightly d rying finish. (JR)
This large estate has produced a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 46% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot offering up notes of roasted herbs and licorice, red and black currants. Medium-bodied, relatively lush and fruity in style, it can be drunk over the next 5-6 years. A member of the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois du Medoc.
