Note di degustazione
0.5 ha and hard to work – almost like concrete. Next to Coche. 40- to 45-year-old vines. Quite smoky reductive on the nose. Very firm and pointed but still with the richness underneath. Very appetising. (JR)

(from 45-year-old vines): Bright lemon-yellow. Exotic papaya and clove on the nose. Fat, sweet and saline, with good depth to its creamy flavors of honey and spice. A bit aggressive on the back end, conveying a lightly tannic impression.
This is also cool and pure but with a bit more complexity if not quite the same aromatic refinement. There is good volume to the moderately concentrated medium-bodied flavors that possess good vibrancy and underlying tension, all wrapped in a balanced, persistent and harmonious finish. This understated effort is really quite pretty and should amply reward 5 to 7 years of cellaring. Recommended. Tasted: Jun 11, 2013. Drink: 2017+
