A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon was looked after by Stephane Derenoncourt. It hit 14.5% natural alcohol, which no doubt is helping keep it alive. Still drinkable, delicious and sexy, it possesses good fat, ripeness and a round, seductive mouthfeel. It will not get any better, so consume it while it’s still intact.

(80% merlot; 14.7% alcohol) Medium ruby-red. Nose dominated by cassis and black cherry. Sweet, dense and vinous, with fresh flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate and mint. Finishes with building tannins that are supported by the wine's density of material.
