Deep, bright red. Cherry, spices and flowers on the nose. Sweet and sappy but youthfully unevolved; a basket of red fruits firmed by minerals. Best today on the back end, which features firm but fine tannins and lovely perfumed persistence. It's refreshing to find this kind of flavor intensity in a wine with a moderate 12.7% alcohol.
