Note di degustazione
The 2007 Cantenac Brown offers a relatively light bouquet with brambly red berry fruit, freshly tilled loamy soil and a pastille-like scent. It is not terribly complex, yet still attractive in a simplistic way. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins and has good weight in the mouth with saline black fruit. However, the finish feels a bit static and implies that it will not evolve much further in bottle. Tasted at the Cantenac Brown vertical at the château.

Much riper fruit than most with a delicate perfumed freshness. Smooth and ready to drink. Well managed and well balanced. (JH)
This dark ruby/purple-hued, medium-bodied 2007 is somewhat austere and lean, with angular tannins, and an attenuated finish. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
