Pale ruby. Light, sweet tea nose. Nicely balanced and fragrant but pretty delicate. Tannins still there but a pretty impressively long finish. (JR)

Although I had higher hopes for this wine from cask, it has turned out to be an excellent St.-Emilion offering sweet black cherry, cola, smoke, plum, and mulberry characteristics. The wine is medium-bodied, plump, and fat, with low acidity and an up-front, flattering style. It should drink well for 10-12 years.
Wonderful aromas of mineral, berry and plum. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins, but falls slightly short on the finish. James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2000
