Note di degustazione
Medium red. Wild aromas of cherry, herbs and leather. Fresh and savory, with a sour cherry flavor and a slightly raw peppery note. A bit dry on the finish. Not bad.

The 2011 Morey St. Denis is laced with dried cherries, herbs and crushed flowers. The mid-weight style is attractive, but also at times a bit fragile, with hints of underripeness that are not uncommon in 2011.
Mid crimson. Strong green/2004 pyrazine aroma. Sort of nutty and leafy at the same time. Not attractive. Maybe I am over-sensitive to this or the sample was not in great condition? (JH)
(80% vendange entier): Classic Morey aromas of briary berries and smoke, complicated by rose petal, pepper and spices. Juicy, spicy and pliant, showing strong mint and pepper qualities. Finishes with moderate length and good lift.
